    September 2011 - theskonkworks have started research and design on a new digital archaeology pipeline for the Sustainable Archaeology Institute (SA) at the University of Western Ontario. Billed as the first computer animation archaeology unit in North America, the SA's ten seat animation team will scan, model and digitally display artifacts from the SA's growing collection of Southwestern Ontario archaeological artifacts.     October 2009 - theskonkworks incorporated is pleased to announce that Michael Carter has been elected President of CASO (Computer Animation Studios of Ontario) for the 2009/2010 year. In addition, in his role of President, Michael will also represent CASO as a member of the OMDC's (Ontario Media Development Corporation) Screen-Based Industry Advisory Committee for the next two years.

    January 2009 - Yeti Digital, Nepal's first 2D Digital Animation Studio located in Kathmandu, is mentioned in Robert Brodey's January 15, 2009 Travel article in the Toronto Star. This studio is a pilot design based on the rapid pipeline concept from theskonkworks.
     
    November 2008 - theskonkworks has been selected to help design and build the first 2D Digital Animation Studio in Kathmandu Nepal. Yeti Digital is the culmination of years of business, creative and technical development work to design a digital animation service studio which will eventually help to foster the independent and unique needs of Nepalese Broadcast and Film.
     
    November 2008 - After almost two and a half years of service production, theskonkworks refocuses on Production Executive and Production Management Services to the animation industry.

    April 2006 - theskonkworks makes the cut at MipTV, Cannes. Selected by renowned animation pioneer, The National Film Board of Canada, theskonkworks is one of four mobile animation proposals to be considered for co-production.   March 2006 - theskonkworks sells original development concept "Being Leonardo" to Decode Entertainment. A series that teaches kids about Leonardo da Vinci’s great inventions and how they can be made using household items.

    February 2006 - In collaboration with "Peep" creator Kaj Pindal, theskonkworks signs a deal with Shaftesbury for the further development of "The Wanderbirds," a Flash animated series that follows a family of penguins as they leave the crowded South Pole in search of a mysterious new home called the “North Pole”.
     
    January 2006 - theskonkworks partners with longtime 2-D service provider Alan Kennedy to create a new Toronto based animation studio called "Two Presidents Productions”.  The studio will service original and contract animation productions.
